  36. Don't feel bad.  I placed my order in November, just after the press 
  37. release.  Two weeks ago, I got a call from USR saying they would be 
  38. sending the upgrade out via UPS.  I was pleasantly surprised when he 
  39. said it would be free.  They set a purchase date that my 18 month old 
  40. modem must have met to qualify for a free 33.6 upgrade.  Unfortunately I 
  41. am still looking for a brown truck with a little bubble pak.
  42. Many posters to this newsgroup haven't been all that impressed with the 
  43. upgrade.  I take that with a grain of salt as it is the displeased 
  44. person that is most likely to make noise.  My Sportster gets 28.8 95% of 
  45. the time and 24.6 the rest.  I'm not complaining.  My ISP uses Courier 
  46. V.everythings so I am looking forward to the possibilty of 33.6 
  47. connections.  I have seen very few posts that mention this happening.
